The Internet is sprinked
with useless divorce links so I posted the links I found most
helpful. (Hint: bookmark this page - so you can find
it later and save yourself hours of wasted time looking for what
I have already found)
Looking for the Cheapest divorce - If you're not contesting
your divorce, here is the cheapest option, "Download Forms".
Just fill them in and file for divorce in your local state, use this link
Fast & Easy DIVORCES Online
They offer phone support to help fill them out
and it has ALL the forms including California Divorce and Texas
Divorce. The reason I like their site is that they have everything
Not quite ready to give up? It didn't help me as my marriage
was already over but if haven't yet decided if you want out of your
marriage, please read Susie and Otto Collins book "Should
you Stay or Should you Go" or another great resource is,
Deciding Whether Or Not To Get A Divorce
as these give you a different perspective. Sometimes it
helps to get a different point of view. Another great resource is
"1000
Questions for Couples" The idea is that you ask your partner
important questions to find out if you're even compatible. The only
problem with asking is you may not like the answers you get or you
might ignore the red flags and warning signs.
Still willing to try? If you are still trying or willing
to try save your marriage you should seriously consider Lee Baucom
book on "Saving
Your Marriage" - there so many myth's about reconcilling
- this book shocked me. I never realized that the steps differed
for men and women. Hint: Beggging and pleading doesn't work! I guess
what I found so sad was that most couples believe that reconcilling
requires little more then making promises and 'going to a therapist'.
This book might have helped me, but by the time I found it it was
too late.
Need a lawyer?LegalMatch
is a service that matches a lawyer in your area with your specific
needs. Much easier and faster then using the phone book or just
asking around, they allow you to post questions for free
on their site.
Divorce Lawyer Guide - "The
Divorce Primer - Divorce Basics for the Consumer" by Jean
Mahserjian and Whitney Clark (lawyers) shows you how to save big
money on your attorneys fees, it also explains the divorce process
the court system and offers tips and advice for winning your divorce.
You could spend 10 hours with a divorce attorney - at say, $200
per hour, ($2000) or you could seriously consider their book. My
suggestion, buy the book.
Getting aggressive? Here is how you divorce with teeth - this
book is interesting, written by two divorce lawyers "Take
charge of your divorce!" it draws ideas from military tactics
to help win your divorce. Sprinkled with quotes from the reknowned
Chinese military general, Sun Tzu, here is a sample, "The
attorney-client relationship is comparable to the ruler-general
relationship. Think of your divorce lawyer as a military leader...
capable of developing strategies, leading an army of associates
and paralegals, and negotiating the peace treaty." A very interesting
perspective. An unusual but interesting read.

Computer Spyware - What is Spyware?
Spyware monitors your spouse (or child) when they use
Instant Messages, Chats, Emails, Web Site and it records undetected
everything that takes place. Not only do you see what they type
online but what is said back as well It monitors both incoming and
outgoing activity - catch "cheats".
Here are the statistics which I read recently - 57% of people have
used the Internet to flirt, 38% have engaged in explicit online
sexual conversation and 50% of people have made phone contact with
someone they chatted with online. If you're suspicious Spyware will
help you find out the truth. Learn more about Spyware at An
Introduction to Spyware and Scumware or
Spyware Articles.
Snooping for "dirt" - I used Investigate
Anyone on my computer to find out about "someone"
I wanted to find more about. (can't go into too many details here
::grin::) But here's how it helped me. Everyday hundreds of databases
store information on individuals which you can access. Yes, its
legal. I used what I learned to find the truth about this person
- an information "gold mine". You "could" use
it to find hidden assets, or the truth.
I included this link to Men
Made Easy as it provides an interesting insight into men and
why things don't always work out. Not strictly a divorce book but
certainly an interesting read for someone struggling with the end
of their relationship.
Another useful book, "How
to Legally Save Thousands on Your Divorce" is the book
that uncovers major stumbling blocks that prevent people from getting
more from their divorce, saving huge legal fee's and getting over
the ex faster and for less.
